"I am 47 years old and figure I contracted Hep C through use of intravenous drugs when I was 14 years old. I found out that I had Hep C from a routine blood test approximately 4 years ago.

"I had abnormal ALT tests for about 13 years. I had tests run approx. every three months. After taking Dr. Ren's (China) herbs, my ALT went to normal after three weeks, and has been normal now for over a year. I have had four tests ion this period of time and my alt has been normal. My billirubin also went to normal. My AST and GGT are almost normal. My viral load had initially gone up from 500,000 to 1.5 million but then dropped to 200,000 and finally settled at 250,000 since taking Dr. Ren's (China) herbs. I have type 1b Hepatitis 'C', which is the most unresponsive to inteferon. I have never taken the inteferon. "My name is John Yeager. I live in Pennsylvania and I am a Hepatitis C survivor I am fifty-three years old and, never having been exposed to contaminated needles, I believe I contracted Hepatitis C from blood transfusions I received while on active duty for the U.S.M.C. in 1969.

"I, like many, was never one to run to the doctor for minor aches and pains, let alone an annual physical. I have always been a vitamin fanatic and enjoyed seemingly good health up until my mid-forties. It wasn't until 1997 that the diagnosis of Hepatitis C was made. After having a liver biopsy and finding out the extent of the cirrhosis, the doctors informed me that I have had this disease twenty-five to thirty years. This, again, it took me back to the injury that occurred during my marine corps days.

"For about the last ten years, I have had a noticeable loss of energy, nausea, painful joints, liver pains, and severe headaches --- just to name a few. For those suffering with this disease, you know what I'm talking about I started my search for information by attending meetings with the Hepatitis C Foundation in Philadelphia.
